Following onwards is like... a major spiel of love. XD;; So you don't have to read it unless you want to know about some really cool people in my heart~



I realise I have never drawn anything in tribute to the great friends I have made through the power that is the internet. And honestly, if I had never gone online, I would never have made as good friends with these people as I am now. Two of them I would never have met if I hadn't gone online at all. O_O (That scares me!)

The four people I drew above have these things in common:
These people mean a lot to me and I care about them an insane amount.
My relationship with these people have been either solely or mainly conducted over the internet.
We're able to share a lot on our minds without freaking out over any social codes, regardless of our backgrounds or nationalities or education or anything like that.
We've really connected in a lot of ways.
They have anthropomorphic modes in my head. XD;; No, seriously!
They all have DA accounts (hence the writing of their DA account names ).

I've made a lot of friends over the internet, but the people I corresponded with the most I feel I have to pay some form of tribute to. This is totally meagre, but I really had to draw it. ;_;*

Bunny has been with me since high school. If it weren't for the internet we probably wouldn't have talked as much as we did back in the old days, and these days - despite the fact we're in different countries - we still connect online and that's a major relief and comfort to me. What I drew isn't very clear - it's his discman. XD; He's the one who introduced me to so many different kinds of music and I know I never would have given some genres a chance if it weren't for him.

caesura1107 is my spiritual soulmate. :3 Even back in high school she was one of the few people I could ever talk to. Thank God for the internet or I would never have been able to continue the incredibly insightful talks I've had with her. She pulled me through some really tough times, hence the image - she's always been ready to pull me up when I'm down. In my head, she's always been my angel.

Now for someone I never would have met without the internet. O_O I've known thumbjr for a few years now and I'm extremely grateful for it. It's hard to find someone you can connect with this well (we have so much in common it's almost scary!), and enjoy talking to this much without feeling self-conscious. I drew us back to back simply because I was feeling, even if we don't literally see each other, we can feel each other's presence in a sense. :3

(Blwaaah. I had no reference and I had to really try hard to remember the brief look I had at one of her photos in a devart ID before. ;__;* Sorry ein!! I'm also sorry for making you a puppy. ) I knew ein from Oekaki Central years ago... She's always been an inspiration and a kind of celebrity(!) to me. More recently though, this year, I got to know her better... I am so glad for that. It's really difficult to connect with anyone on a creative and personal level like this~!! And it's just so great to meet anyone this sweet. ;_;* We have a particular connection in writing so I drew us looking at something written... except it's really not clear. XD;;; Whoops.

Anyway... I just want to really thank these people for being in my life, and being here for me now, and just feel that though people around me really disdain online relationships with others... I feel that the internet has given me some irreplaceable friendships. So, thank God for that.
